A United Nations team visited Gaza's largest hospital, Shifa Hospital, and found 291 patients left behind after Israeli troops forced others to evacuate. Among those left were 32 critically ill babies, trauma patients with infected wounds, and individuals with spinal injuries. The World Health Organization led the mission and described Shifa Hospital as a "death zone." The Israeli military had been searching the hospital for a Hamas command center, but Hamas and hospital staff deny the claim. The team plans to evacuate the patients to southern Gaza, where hospitals are also overwhelmed
