Epclusa belongs to a class of drugs known as hepatitis C antivirals. It may also be called a combination antiviral drug. Treatment with Epclusa should be initiated and supervised by a physician experienced in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C.
It is recommended to take one tablet of Epclusa once a day, regardless of meals. The tablet must be swallowed whole with water.
